Classes
Little Wings
Ages 2.5-3 years
Our Little Wings class is a joyful introduction to dance, movement, and creative expression for our youngest dancers. Children will explore music, basic tumbling, imaginative play, and beginner dance steps in a safe and nurturing environment. With a focus on coordination, listening, and fun, this class encourages little ones to move freely, gain confidence, and build the foundation for a lifelong love of movement.
Busy Bees
Ages 4-5 years
Our Busy Bees class is designed for preschoolers who are ready to move through imaginative play! Dancers will explore foundational ballet, creative movement, and beginner tumbling in a playful, engaging environment. While still full of fun and creativity, this class gently prepares students for future studio-style dance classes by introducing musicality, spatial awareness, and age-appropriate dance vocabulary.
Honeycomb Crew
Ages 6-8 years
Our Honeycomb Crew class is designed for dancers ready to take flight with more structured instruction and a variety of dance styles. From ballet and tap to hip hop and creative movement, students build confidence, musicality, and technique in a fun, encouraging environment. This class introduces choreography, strengthens performance skills, and gives young dancers the freedom to explore who they are through movement.
TEAH NASON
OWNER AND LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Hi, I'm Teah Nason, the owner and lead instructor at Honeybee Dance Academy. With over 10 years of experience teaching dance and more than 15 years in public education, I’ve had the joy of combining movement, learning, and child development in meaningful ways throughout my career.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and I’ve been privileged to serve as an award-winning Special Education teacher and Instructional Coach. My passion is helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Honeybee Dance Academy combines my love for dance, my dedication to early childhood education, and my deep belief in the power of movement to build confidence and spark joy. I created this mobile program to bring high-quality, inclusive enrichment opportunities directly to children, while also giving families the gift of time and convenience. I truly believe that every child deserves a chance to shine, and I can’t wait to dance, learn, and grow with your little one!
